Katsuhito Nishikawa (JP, 1949) combineert in zijn werk de genres beeldhouwkunst, architectuur, fotografie, schilderkunst en design tot een harmonieus geheel. Na zijn studie bij Erwin Heerich aan de Kunstacademie van D\u00fcsseldorf van 1976 tot 1980 begon de kunstenaar met het bouwen van inloopsculpturen.<\/p>\n

Sinds 1994 woont en werkt Katsuhito Nishikawa in het raketstation Hombroich in Neuss en heeft hij talrijke gebouwen, kunst op bouwprojecten en sculpturen in de openbare ruimte gerealiseerd.<\/p>\n

In de tentoonstelling Katsuhito Nishikawa. Works<\/em>, die zich niet beperkt tot het tijdelijke tentoonstellingsniveau van Museum DKM maar ook twee tentoonstellingszalen in de nieuwbouw beslaat, wordt een selectie uit belangrijke groepen werken van de jaren tachtig tot heden getoond en wordt het veelzijdige en tegelijkertijd indrukwekkende oeuvre van deze unieke kunstenaar ge\u00efllustreerd.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>
