In his special guided tours, curator Jörg Mascherrek will focus on the leitmotif of the house, lines of quiet beauty, and the cultural-historical collection with its attention to the timeless beauty of vessels of all kinds. Jörg Mascherrek will address towards the end of the tour how the well-known Chinese artist Ai Weiwei expresses an artistic critique of Beijing’s cultural policy with an urn and vases from the Neolithic and Han periods.
